Amazon has dropped the price of the Kindle 2 reader by 60$. The new price is 299$.

The new Kindle DX is still priced at 489$, and Amazon are still out of stock (says they will ship within 3 to 5 weeks).

Bridgestone will being to make ePaper displays. They will give more details in a few weeks. The company develops their own ePaper, using "electron powder and granular material."

The Bridgestone e-paper is suited for e-readers,it is A4 in size, and has a fast refresh rate - 0.8 seconds to refresh. This makes it possible to do pen-input touch ePaper devices.

YankoDesign is showing a neat new coach clipboard concept. The idea is to use a touch - E Ink display to show basic game templates (for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, etc.) and then the coach can draw with his fingers. 

This is just a concept design, but what a beautiful idea!
