E Ink Holdings started to produce 26" color ACeP (Advanced Color E-Paper) displays. The display supports a refresh rate that is lower than 3 seconds (similar to EIH's first 13" ACeP display).

ACeP displays look excellent - personally I was very impressed with the displays.

E Ink announced a new product, E Ink JustTint which are variable transmission light control film - or films that can control whether light goes through them or not.

E Ink says that the new films are bi-stable (and so do not require any energy, only for changes) and can be used for windows, sunroofs, skylights and more.
